Mission Statement
Poodles-at-Play provides opportunities
for standard poodles and their families to socialize while taking
a monthly off-leash 2 hour hike in primarily East Bay regional
parks and open spaces.
Our goals are to provide
- An opportunity for a group of standard
poodles to walk, run, play & swim off-leash in a safe
environment
- A setting in which standard poodle
owners can meet and make friends
- A monthly outing on Sundays at 10
A.M.
- An annual weekend trip to Truckee
for members and their poodles
Special one-time activities have included:
- Poodle swimming lessons
- Red Cross class in Pet First Aid
- Grooming seminars [beginners &
advanced]
- Dental care seminar
